The Children of Quetzacoátl

This two panel mural was sponsored by Hedges Fine and Performing Arts School located in the Back of the Yards neighborhood in the south side of Chicago. The mural documents the history and migration of the people who now live in the Back of the Yards community.
Alejandro Medina of Pilsen was the assistant.

"Examining Working Class Chicano Identities in San Antonio and Chicago," as portrayed in The Banner Project by Juan Miguel Ramos, David Botello's Arte por Vida/Art for Life, and The Children of Quetzacoátl by Ricardo Santos Hernández.
